About Me

Uchechukwu Awada is an Associate Professor with the School of Software at Henan Institute of Science and Technology (河南科技学院). His research interests include distributed computing/systems, mobile computing, cloud/edge computing, IoT, IoV and AI. He leads the Systems Research Group, whose mission is to identify, engineer and evaluate innovative technologies that address current and future data-intensive challenges. They take a very practical approach to research, by building and evaluating real systems, whilst publishing in many of the top-tiered systems research conferences and journals.

📚 My Research

My research interests include distributed computing/systems, mobile computing, cloud/edge computing, big data, IoT, IoV and AI. I lead the Systems Research Group (SGR), whose mission is to identify, engineer and evaluate innovative technologies that address current and future data-intensive challenges. We take a very practical approach to research, by building and evaluating real systems, whilst publishing in many of the top-tiered systems research conferences and journals.
